Sometimes we need a tile that can both look good and help prevent us from slipping. We present here a selection of our tiles that have been laboratory tested to help prevent slipping. There is a scale of relative slip resistance which goes from R9 to R13, with R13 being the most slip resistant. R9 is the minimum level of slip resistance required for public floors. R10 is required in high traffic areas that may be occasionally wet. R11 is required for constantly wet or barefoot areas. Please consult your architect to make a correct selection for any public floor area that requires a slip resistant tile.
